Caryn Rose, a Florida native, grew up in NW Bradenton. As a youth, she spent weekends boating with her family in the Tampa Bay Area. With those childhood experiences, Caryn grew up to appreciate the amazing inshore fisheries that Tampa Bay offers. In their early 20's Michelle and Cary met, and bonded over their love of inshore fishing. Caryn spent many weekends tournament fishing, free diving in the Bahamas, sand bar hopping, and camping on local islands with the Boyles. Caryn joined BoylenPoint in 2023 as business and closing manager. She is passionate about helping customers build the Contender of their dreams. Caryn currently resides in Bradenton with her daughter Charlee.

I am from Nassau, The Bahamas. I have spent my entire life on boats, from family trips to pleasure and commercial fishing/diving. My love for the water is like no other, naturally I wanted to work in an industry similar to this. My history happens to be build on, in and around Contenders prior to working for Boyle’n Point. For this reason I feel it’s safe to say that I have indeed found a way to not only use this history of mine everyday, but to continue to be immersed in the boating world, more specifically the Contender world.

As a Florida native, have always had a passion for the outdoors and being on the water, so working for Boylenpoint and in the marine industry has been a natural fit for myself. After graduating from the University of Florida with a mechanical engineering degree, i spent 4 years as a boat builder/engineer for a few different boat companies before transitioning into my current role with Boylenpoint. I enjoy working for Boylenpoint because I get to combine my experience boat building with now selling boats and learning the ins/outs of running a business, all while working alongside the best team I could ever ask for.

I have been with Boylenpoint since January of 2025. Growing up, my family has owned contenders my whole life, which has led to my conviction in these boats being one that was formed over thousands of hours on them. But aside from our boats, our team is what impresses me most. Every member of this team truly cares about the product, the customers, and the experience that is buying a customer built Contender. It creates a work environment fueled by passion and it makes me very proud to represent the boylenpoint name.
